Events by Laurents was created from our own love for weddings and the belief that couples deserve to truly enjoy one of the most important days of their lives.  

After Halle and Allison both planned their own weddings, they experienced firsthand how exciting and overwhelming wedding planning can be.  They loved every detail of the process, but when the wedding day arrived, they realized they didn’t want to spend our time managing timelines and logistics. They wanted to be fully present, surrounded by the people we love, and able to soak in every moment.

That experience inspired them to create a team that allows couples to do exactly that.

With Halle and Allison’s backgrounds as nurses has helped shape their ability to communicate, problem-solve, and stay calm in high-pressure situations. They bring a caring and organized approach to every wedding, working behind the scenes to coordinate details, communicate with vendors, and ensure your vision comes to life.

Jake discovered his passion for weddings after officiating a friend’s ceremony and realizing how meaningful it is to guide couples through such an important moment. As a firefighter, Jake brings confidence, leadership, and the ability to remain calm when it matters most. He takes the time to truly understand each couple and creates ceremonies that feel authentic, personal, and heartfelt.

Together, Jake, Halle, and Allison bring a unique combination of organization, compassion, leadership, and personal wedding experience to every celebration we serve.  We combine our strengths to support couples from both sides — making your wedding day feel seamless, personal, and unforgettable.
