Events by Laurents was created from our love of weddings and the belief that every couple deserve to truly enjoy one of the most meaningful days of their lives.  

Allison and Halle both planned their own weddings.  Allison on June 10th, 2023, and Halle on May 24th, 2026.  Through our own experiences, we saw firsthand just how exciting and overwhelming wedding planning can be.  We loved every detail of the process, but when our wedding days arrived, we realized something even more important:  We didn't want to spend those moments managing timelines, coordination vendors, or worrying about logistics.  We wanted to be fully present, surrounded by the people we love, and be able to soak in every moment.

That experience inspired us to create Events by Laurents so that we could give other couples the opportunity to do exactly that.

Through our backgrounds as nurses, we have developed strong communication, organization, problem solving skills, and the ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations.  We bring these skills into our role as wedding day coordinators by working behind the scenes to manage timelines, communicate with vendors, coordinate details, and handle the unexpected. 

Our goal as your wedding day coordinator is simple, we want you to enjoy your wedding day rather than manage it. 

Jake discovered his passion for weddings after officiating a friend’s ceremony and experiencing firsthand how meaningful it is to guide couples through such an important moment. As a firefighter, Jake brings confidence, leadership, and a calm presence to every ceremony.  He takes the time to truly get to know each couple and creates ceremonies that feel authentic, personal, and heartfelt.

Together, we bring our individual strengths and experiences to every wedding we serve.  We are passionate about creating a seamless experience for our couples while making sure their wedding day feels personal, meaningful, and uniquely theirs.
